Early October brings a match checker, a rank checker, a Discord bot, CSWatch in Portuguese and Russian, real tabs and clearer rank cards on every profile, a rewarded Overwatch program, live chat, fairer scores for players who hide their Steam library, faster ways to check the next player, and a safer site overall. Here is what changed.

New: CS2 match checker

Suspect someone in your last game? Paste the match share code into the CS2 match checker and all 10 players are checked at once for bans, reputation and cheat signals, with the riskiest accounts listed first. Lobby Check now accepts share codes too. Spot someone suspicious? Every player in the results has a Report button with the match already filled in. Checking a match that was already loaded once is now instant.

New: the CSWatch Discord bot

Add the free CSWatch bot to your Discord server. Type /check with any Steam profile to see bans and reputation, or /match with a share code to check all 10 players from a game, without leaving Discord.

CSWatch in Portuguese and Russian

The cheater checker, match checker and VAC ban checker are now available in Brazilian Portuguese (verificador de cheater) and Russian (проверка на читы), each with guides on finding a share code, reporting a cheater and the different cheat types.

Reporting a cheater is easier

The report form now starts with the match share code: paste it from CS2 (Watch, Your Matches) and we check the player was really in that match, so reviewers always get the right game. No need to link your match history first.

Linking your match history is now optional too. After you sign in you can choose "Skip for now" and use the whole site right away; you can still link later from your profile or account to get your own match stats.

Profiles now have real tabs

Player profiles are split into tabs: Overview, Matches, Encounters, Maps, Highlights, Weapons, Account and Community. Each tab shows only its own section, and every tab has its own link you can share. Matches, Encounters and Maps now also draw on matches synced by CSWatch users, so far more players have them filled in.

The Overview now also opens with a one-line summary under the trust score (bans, account age, hours and reports at a glance) and a "Played with" card showing the five people a player queues with most, each one click away.

New: CS2 rank checker

The CS2 rank checker shows any player's Premier rating, FACEIT level and ELO, and Competitive rank on every map, with their current rank next to the best they have ever reached. It also has the full tables of Premier colour bands and FACEIT ELO ranges, so you can read any rank at a glance.

Full rank names on profiles

Rank cards now spell out the full name, such as Legendary Eagle Master or Supreme Master First Class, instead of short codes like LEM and SMFC. The cards are also a little wider, so a player's current rank and their best rank always fit side by side.

Check the next player faster

Every profile and every blog post now has a player lookup box: paste a Steam link, custom URL or SteamID64 and go straight to that player. All our free tools are now linked at the bottom of every page: the cheater checker, smurf checker, rank checker, VAC ban checker and Lobby Check. Free accounts and visitors can now look up 30 players a day instead of 5. The menu on the left now has a Check section with the four main checkers, so they are one click away on every page.

Overwatch: easier to join, and rewarded

Becoming an Overwatcher now takes 500 CS2 hours and FACEIT level 5 or Premier 8,000. Every verdict that matches a case's final outcome earns 1 credit (up to 5 a day), and approved reviewers get an Overwatcher badge with their review count on their profile. If you meet the requirements you are approved the moment you apply, and you get a notification when strong new cases come in.

Reviewers also have a new dashboard: the cases up next for you (the ones closest to a verdict first), your accuracy, the credits you earned from reviewing, today's verdict credits and your progress to the Verified Reviewer badge.

New: live chat

Questions about CSWatch? Tap the chat button at the bottom right of any page and write to us. We reply right there. If you have left by then, you get our reply as a notification when you are signed in, or by email if you left your address. To report a player, use the Report button on their profile.

Fairer scores for hidden Steam libraries

Many players hide their Steam game library or their playtime. We used to read that as 0 hours and 0 games, which lowered their score and could get them flagged for their privacy settings alone. Now a hidden library shows as "Game library private" and hidden CS2 hours as "CS2 playtime not visible", with a much smaller effect on the score, and the Account tab of a profile says "Private" instead of a number we cannot see. Checks that compare skill with hours played now skip players whose hours are hidden. 458 players who were flagged mainly because of a hidden library are no longer on the flagged list.

A safer site

Ads on CSWatch now run in fully isolated frames, so no ad can ever send you to another website or interfere with the page you are on. We also removed pop-under ads entirely. As before, Pro members see no ads at all.

A new shop: badges and avatar frames

The shop has a new look and new items: ten illustrated profile badges and eight avatar frames, from clean steel to an animated gold rim. Click any item to try it on in the live preview of your profile before you buy. Prices are now in line with what credits cost, starting at 30 credits. Approved Overwatch reviewers earn their own badge and frame, and everything stays cosmetic: no gameplay or ranking advantage.

You choose about ad cookies

Our ad partner only sets cookies after you allow it. On your first visit you can pick "Allow ad cookies" or "Essential only", and both are one click. With "Essential only" no ad script loads at all. Change your mind any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; if you are signed in, your choice follows you to other devices.

New guides

New on the blog: FACEIT levels and ELO explained, how to check any Steam account for a VAC ban, how to find a SteamID64 and how to check a trader before you trade skins.

Support CSWatch without a subscription

You can now support CSWatch with a one-time payment on the pricing page: 30 days of Supporter for €5, or a 30-credit pack for €3. Nothing renews.
