Questions people ask

How do I check if someone is cheating in CS2?
Paste their Steam profile link, custom URL or SteamID64 into the search box. CSWatch shows their VAC, game and trade bans, account age, hours and rank, a 0 to 100 reputation score and any community reports. For a whole match, paste the share code into the match checker.
Is the CS2 cheater checker free?
Yes. Checking players is free, up to 30 lookups a day without a membership. A membership removes ads, the daily limit and the 5-player watchlist limit.
Does it work for CS:GO accounts too?
Yes. CS2 and CS:GO use the same Steam account, so bans, account age and history carry over. Old CS:GO match stats are not part of the check.
Can you check a private Steam profile?
Bans are always visible, because Steam reports them for every account. Hidden hours or a hidden game library count as unknown, not as zero, so a private profile is not marked as suspicious for that alone.
Is a high-risk score proof that someone is cheating?
No. The score and automatic flags are signals that an account is worth a closer look. A player is only marked as a convicted cheater after approved reviewers judge the match evidence, or after a logged decision by the CSWatch team.
How do I report a cheater?
Open their profile and press Report. Add the match share code or a clip; approved Overwatch reviewers watch the evidence and vote.
