SteamID finder

Paste a Steam profile link, custom URL, SteamID2 or SteamID3 and get every ID format of that account, ready to copy.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste any Steam link

    A profile link, custom URL, SteamID64, SteamID2 (STEAM_1:...) or SteamID3 ([U:1:...]).
  2. 2

    We ask Steam

Custom URLs are turned into the account number by Steam itself, then we work out every other format.
  3. 3

    Copy what you need

Each format has its own copy button, plus the permanent profile link.

SteamID FAQ

What is a SteamID64?
A 17-digit number that identifies one Steam account for good, for example 76561197960287930. Unlike a name or a custom URL, it never changes.
What's the difference between SteamID64, SteamID3 and SteamID2?
They are the same account written three ways. SteamID64 is used by most websites and the Steam Web API, SteamID3 ([U:1:...]) shows up in newer Valve tools and server logs, and SteamID2 (STEAM_1:...) in older games and server admin tools.
How do I find my own SteamID?
Open your Steam profile, copy its link (in the Steam app: right-click the page and choose Copy Page URL) and paste it above. If you set a custom URL, the finder looks up the number behind it.
Does it work for private profiles?
Yes. The SteamID is public for every account. The account creation date only shows when the profile is public.
Is it free?
Yes. Free and without signing in.
