CSWatch tells you whether the player in your lobby is legit. Ascend, our coaching partner, answers the other question: am I getting better? It is free while in beta. Here is what it does, who it is for and what it shares with CSWatch.
Fix one thing at a time
Most stat sites show you fifty numbers. Ascend picks one thing that holds you back, records where you are now and shows over your next 10 games whether it improved. A difference only counts when it is unlikely to be chance: a lucky streak does not get called progress, and a bad night does not get called a slump.
What it reads from your games
- Your maps: your win rate and damage per map against your other maps, with prefire and lineup practice for a map that is really weaker.
- Your role: entry, AWP, support or rifler, from how you compare with the other nine players in the same matches. Opening duels, AWP kills and flashes decide it.
- Clutches: your 1v1 and 1v2 results against the same players.
- Coach insights: tilt after a loss, the late games of a long session, close games and more, each with a drill.
Who it is for
The focus loop measures FACEIT matches, so FACEIT players get the most out of it. Playing only Premier? Link your match history on CSWatch once and Ascend shows your Premier matches with the numbers read from the demo, plus your Leetify ratings with your weakest area. The first screen after you sign in tells you what Ascend found for your account and what is missing.
One click from CSWatch
Signed in on CSWatch? The Ascend card has an "Open with Steam" button that signs you in on Ascend straight away. The link it uses works once and for 60 seconds.
What CSWatch shares with Ascend
Only your own data, and only when you use Ascend: your Steam ID, name and avatar when you click "Open with Steam", and your own demo statistics and stored Leetify numbers when you sign in there. Nothing about other players. Both privacy policies say the same.
