September was a big month for CSWatch. Player profiles got a full rework, ranks now show both where a player is and the best they have ever been, and there are new tools and guides. Here is everything that changed.
Player profiles: current rank vs best rank
Every profile now shows current and all-time best side by side for each Competitive map, for Premier, and for FACEIT. Best ranks come from the player's own match history, so a player who has fallen off after a bad month still shows the peak they reached. That gap is often the most useful thing on the page: we explain why in CS2 Premier ranks explained.
The profile layout is also new: a cleaner two-column view, with teammate names shown in match history instead of bare IDs.
Stats that show what is normal
Aim and performance stats are now shown on a spectrum, so you can see at a glance where a player sits compared with typical players, instead of reading raw numbers. The trust score breakdown now shows which factors push the score up and which pull it down.
More players with real stats
We now pull stats for players who have never linked a Leetify account, so far fewer profiles come up empty. We also fixed a bug where some players showed as FACEIT Unranked despite having a real FACEIT level.
New: CS2 smurf checker
The CS2 smurf checker looks at the account signals that separate a smurf from a genuinely new player. It sits alongside the cheater checker, the VAC ban checker and Lobby Check.
Overwatch: clearer requirements
The Overwatch page now shows exactly what you need to become a reviewer and checks your eligibility on the spot. We fixed a bug that blocked players who only had a Premier rating from applying. If you have the hours and the rank, we would love your help clearing the review queue.
Badge shop
Credits now buy real profile badges in the shop. Pick one to show on your public profile.
Embeds that work everywhere
Player reputation cards can now be embedded on any website, including forums and team pages. Grab the snippet from the developers page.
New guides on the blog
Every post now has a player lookup box at the top and related reading at the bottom. New this month: CS2 Premier ranks explained, with guides on FACEIT levels, checking any account for VAC bans, finding a SteamID64 and vetting a trader before you trade skins coming over the next two weeks.
Pro is fully ad-free
Pro members now see no ads at all, anywhere on the site. See pricing for the tiers.
