You finished a match and something felt off about one of the players. By the time you think of checking them, the scoreboard is gone. Here is where to find everyone you played with in CS2, and how to check all of them at once.
In CS2: Your Matches
- Open CS2 and go to the Watch tab.
- Open Your Matches. It lists your recent Premier and Competitive games with map, score and date.
- Select a match to see its scoreboard with all ten players. From there you can open a player's Steam profile.
The same screen gives you the match share code, which is the fastest way to check the whole lobby later. See how to get a CS2 match share code.
On Steam: Recently played with
Steam keeps a list of the people you were in a game with. In a browser, open your Steam profile and go to Friends, then Recently played with (the address ends in /friends/coplay). In the Steam client it sits under your friends list as well.
The list is grouped by game and only goes back a limited time, so check it soon after the match. It is also the easiest place to grab profile links: right-click a name and copy the link.
Check everyone at once
Opening ten profiles one by one is slow. The lobby check takes either the match share code or up to ten profile links and checks every player in one go: VAC and game bans, account age, reputation score and community reports, riskiest player first.
- Have the share code? Paste it into the match checker. It loads the players from the match itself.
- Have profile links? Paste them into the lobby check, one per line.
- Linked your match history on CSWatch? The lobby check and match checker show your last three matches. One click checks the other nine players.
Found someone suspicious?
A high risk score is a reason to look closer, not proof. Watch the demo from that player's point of view first (how to watch a CS2 demo). If it still looks wrong, report it in CS2 and on CSWatch with the share code, so reviewers can judge the same match: how to report a cheater in CS2.
